Speculative Card Game:
Meaningful Conversation, September 2023


Gehaltvolles Gespräch" is a card game designed to pose direct questions inspired by residency permit applications. Drawing inspiration from the intimate and brave approach of "We Are Not Really Strangers," (@werenotreallystrangers ) this card game offers a mock edition featuring questions from residency permit forms and experiences of applying for visas.

The game comprises 20 cards, which are divided into two categories: "Ice Breaker" and "Wild Cards." While the "Ice Breaker" cards aim to strengthen bonds and elicit straightforward answers, the "Wild Cards" typically necessitate an action on the part of the player. The game is open to everyone. Players are not allowed to skip a question or provide false answers.

Wie viel zahlen Sie monatlich für Kreditbelastungen/Ratenzahlungen?
How much do you pay monthly for loan charges/installments?

Gehört das Geld Ihnen ganz allein oder müssen Sie es mit jemandem teilen?
